  • The Human Resources Coordinator individual is responsible for performing related Human Resources functions as assigned to include: employment application intake, computer entry and file maintenance, responsible for maintenance of confidential personnel files, recruitment coordination, employee service support, special projects and administrative tasks.
  • Coordinates and performs reception area duties, including HR department mail/ distribution, company badges and safety wear.
  • Schedules, plans and coordinates new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Assists employees with inquiries regarding basic policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Coordinates and prepares HR communication tools and other materials including distribution
  • Performs HR data entry ensuring the accuracy of information to include: new hires, status changes and terminations
  • Prepare and files employee information to maintain accurate and confidential documents
  • Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons.
  • Maintains good interpersonal skills by effectively communicating to employees and customers when handling general complaints, criticisms and their needs.
  • Maintains and distributes company employee directory
  • Maintain various reports and documents to provide current personnel information.
  • Maintain I-9 Forms and ITAR files including quarterly audit reviews
  • Process, review and record weekly temporary timesheet
  • Process, coordinate and maintain temporary agencies invoices for payment
  • Acts as liaison between the temporary agencies and temporary staff
  • Processes employment applications and assists in other employment activities.
  • Coordinates with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills required for specific job openings
  • Coordinates recruitment programs and collateral to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings.
  • Assists, implements and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Notifies qualified candidates for specific job openings.
  • Performs reference and background checks on applicants.
  • Processes employment applications and assists in other employment activities.
  • Maintain and update records, reports and logs pertaining to application flow procedures.
  • Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.
  • Screens, schedules and refers candidates for interviews with others affiliates.
  • Coordinates internal job posting program and job postings.
  • Assists with the job advertising in various media including the Internet and newspapers
  • Coordinates, schedules participation and sets up display at internal and external job fairs
  • Maintains contacts with schools, alumni groups, minority groups and other public organizations to find and attract applicants.
  • Coordinates with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates.
  • Assist with additional recruiting resources to include Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.
  • Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from an accredited university, minimum 2 years related Human Resources experience required and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in fastener manufacturing desired.          
  • Ability to comprehend business periodicals, journals, technical procedures or governmental regulation materials. 
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of knowledge of Contact Management systems; Human Resource systems; Internet software; Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Access, and departmental applications.
