THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: HR Generalist
  • The HR Generalist supports relevant HR transaction requirements to ensure all employee actions are completed timely and accurately.
  • Handles first line employee relations issues and employee requests for our Sales & Marketing departments.
  • Participates in the development and delivery of training programs that meet statutory requirements and workplace needs.
  • The HR Generalist will also be instrumental in our job description, compensation, and performance processes and programs.
  • Under supervision, supports the business in one, or more, of the following human resources related responsibilities: HRIS, Onboarding & Orientation, Relocation, Training, Terminations, Worker’s compensation, Human Resources related projects
  • Compensation & Performance Management: Participate in surveys, evaluate surveys and analyze survey data, conduct annual benchmark analysis, Manage the job description process, Manage job description and compensation projects
  • As an expert in policies and procedures, provides guidance to employees and managers regarding work-related problems and employee relations issues and escalates to HR Manager as necessary
  • Completes all transactional processes to ensure all employee actions are completed timely and accurately.
  • Escalates work-related problems and employee relations issues to HR Manager

BACKGROUND PROFILE: HR Generalist
  • 2-5 years’ experience in Human Resources
  • Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.)
  • Previous experience with Compensation and Performance Management is required.
  • Experience participating in surveys, analyzing survey data, and managing the job description process.
  • Strong MS Office Skills, in particular Excel.
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) desired
