THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
In this role, you are responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance and repairs of machinery. We are looking for the proactive individual with exceptional trouble shooting, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical problem-solving skills. Maintenance specialists are required to repair and maintain, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, hydraulic pump systems, and production machines and equipment, including, but not limited to, high speed stamping presses, using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments. Duties may also include:
Working with stamping operations to ensure plant equipment is operating when necessary, through diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair. Issues may be mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical.
Performing preventative maintenance on all plant equipment to ensure maximum productivity. Schedules may be directed by manufacturer’s specifications or developed internally.
Working with stamping operations to focus on improving productivity through the use of improvements in machines, materials, or processes.
Installing and troubleshooting any new equipment as directed.
Performing other duties as assigned.
HOW YOU QUALIFY (Hard Qualifications):
Must have at least 3 to 5 years of current machine maintenance experience and must have 3 to 5 years tenure at a job.
High School Diploma or GED with over two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence.
Lock-Out, Tag-out Certified; Crane Certified; Forklift Certified; Ladder and Sling Certified preferred.
Should be able to read a tape measure, use micrometer, voltmeter, and calipers.
Ability to read blueprints
General knowledge of technology or electronics helpful.

Can effectively communicate with co-workers and management regarding work and safety issues.
Must be able to do basic math, such as: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
