Day shifts: Mon-Thu 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Night shifts: Mon-Thu 4:00 PM - 4:30 AM

You will have to pass a welding test during the interview process, and bring your own welding mask, gloves, and steel toed boots. The test includes being given a blueprint and parts, then being able to produce a finished product that meets company standards. 

You will be fabricating steel beams and support structures for large construction projects. This work is performed indoors in a climate controlled facility. In greater detail, you will:
  • Fabricate and assemble I-beams, stairs, columns, joists, ladders, walkways, handrails, brackets, and more as assigned.
  • Must follow safety guidelines and be willing to offer suggestions to improve safety of working conditions
  • Read and understand drawings, schematics, designs, and blueprints.
  • Weld steel assemblies using MIG, TIG, gas, arc, Dual Shield welding techniques; operate other various fabrication equipment.
  • Learn SME testing procedures on welded surfaces, such as hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimension tolerance to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications.
  • Willing to work overtime.
  • Able to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Willing to complete general tasks not directly related to the job description (clean-up, inventory, training, etc...)
  • MUST be experienced welding steel
  • MUST be able to interpret blueprints and interpret welding symbols
  • Must be able to pass a timed standard print reading/weld test
  • Welds MUST withstand bending, will be x-rayed to ensure structure can be used for building material.
  • High School Diploma; Trade and/or Technical School Training
  • 1-3 years’ experience in welding (recent technical school graduate will be considered).
  • Able to interpret, fabricate and assemble assemblies in accordance with technical drawings and designs.
  • Able to operate various fabrication equipment including continuous feed welding machine, shear, brake, band saw, cut off saw, forklift, overhead crane, jib crane, grinder, sander, drill and other related fabrication equipment.
  • Ability to wear and care for applicable personal protective equipment (such as, safety glasses and shoes, respirator, hard hat and ear protection, safety harness) as required by site specific requirements
  • Must be in good health and able to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Working for prolonged periods of time at a work bench, table, and in awkward positions.
